Hope Community TV Celebrates 50 Years In Hope

Hope Community TV held a special reception Thursday January 29th to celebrate their 50th anniversary of serving Hope.  The company incorporated January 13th, 1965.  The orginal investors partnered with WEHCO Media to build the system.  Some of the orginal investors included Mr. Bill Routon, Mr. Albert Graves, Mr. George Frazier, and Mr. George Peck.  WEHCO Media Chairman Walter E. Hussman, Jr. spoke and area manager Stacy Eads announced a conversion to the all-digital platform and the addition of 14 new High-Definition channels as well as 2 new networks.  This means Hope Community TV and Prescott Video now offers 280 channels including 51 in HD.  The company also offers Cablelynx High-Speed Internet and Digital Home Phone Services.  Eads and local Technical Director Dale Klare were recognized by company officials at the event.  Hussman was honored by District 3 State Representative Brent Talley with a Razorback Coffee Mug and Hussman recognized Bonnie Routon, wife of one of the original investors.
