Chamber Cuts Ribbon For New Hope High Athletic Complex...Booster Club Sponsors Coffee At New Facility

The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting Wednesday August 27th for the new Athletic Complex on the Hope High campus. The Hope Booster Club sponsored a Chamber Coffee at the complex and at 10am everyone at the Coffee went outside for the ribbon-cutting. School board member Jesus Coronado actually cut the ribbon. Superintendent Bobby Hart thanked all those who had a hand in the complex including school board members and former Superintendent Kenneth Muldrew. Following the ribbon-cutting tours of the new facility were given. The complex will not only serve those who play sports but also features classroom space for the band program, the choir program, and special education.
