Hope Kiwanis Club Hears Hope For Paws Program

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Carol Robinson on Tuesday May 6th.  Robinson talked about "Hope for Paws", the group that works to save the lives of dogs in Hope and Hempstead County.  Robinson noted since the group has found a rescue group in Minnesota called "Wags & Whiskers"  the euthanasia rate for dogs at the Hope Animal Shelter has gone from 65% to 23%.  Robinson's work with "Hope For Paws" was one of the reasons cited for her selection as Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce "Citizen of the Year" at the Chamber banquet last month.
