Operation Lifesaver Gives Train Facts to Lions

Ron Hale of Operation Lifesaver spoke to the Hope Lions on Monday. Hale gave some facts about train/auto collisions and explained some of the laws regarding railroad crossings. Hale noted trains always have the right of way and the red light on a crossing bar is the same as a stop sign. Persons who don't heed the flashing lights at a railroad crossing can be ticketed.
