Kiwanis Club Hears Program From Hope Fire Department

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Assisistant Hope Fire Chief Carroll Schmitt.  Carroll brought break-down of the department's 190 calls for 2014.  These included 17 calls for extrication, 20 vehicle fires, 22 residential fires, 56 residential fires, 1 commercial fire, etc.   Schimitt explained what the department does in specific cases and also answered questions from the crowd.  The residents of Hope and the surrounding area certainly appreciate the fine men over at the Hope Fire Department for their committment to public safety!
