Garrett Memorial Christian School Students Promote Driving And Cellphone Safety
A group of Garrett Memorial Christian School students are participating in the "Statewide Injury Prevention Program" in conjunction with Arkansas Children's Hospital, UAMS, and the Arkansas State Police. The young people are taking active steps to remind their peers of the dangers of such risky behavior as drinking and driving, texting and driving, and failing to wear a seat belt at all times. The group has posted reminders on the Garrett campus, arranged for videos to be shown to fellow students, and appealed to parents.
