Hope Kiwanis Club Hears Speakers From UACCH And See Simulators Used For Training

The Hope Kiwanis Club members did a double take when they walked into their meeting Tuesday September 9th. They were greeted by some life-like simulators that are used in the allied health studies at UACCH. The simulators included a baby, a child, and a mother who can give birth. Only Kiwanian Bob Willis asked for any demonstrations! EMS Instructor Mark Wilcox, Practical Nursing Program Director Cyndi Graham, and LPN Clinical Instructor and CNA Instructor Ainsless Lee took turns talking about how the simulators can be used to train students. The "mother" simulator even has a pulse and can even be used to draw blood
