C.E.O. Of "Experience Works" Visits Hope

Sarah A. Biggers, the C.E.O. of Experience Works was in Hope Wednesday (8-27) to promote a program called "Blended Learning". Expericne Works is a national community based organization and a leading provider of training, employment, and community service for seniors. Biggers met with a group of regional Experience Works leaders as well as persons involved in adult education and other related programs. Biggers works out of Washington, D.C. and came to kick off the program in Harrisburg, Arkansas and then made several stops around Arkansas to promote Experience Works. Experience Works was orginally Green Thumb and was started in 1965 during President Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty
