SADA Project Kick-Off

The Southwest Arkansas Development Alliance in coooperative with Southwest Arkansas Planning and Development District will hold a project kick-off meeting Thursday July 31st at 10am in the lecture hall of the Science & Technology Building on the UACCH campus.   A workforce-development consultant named Kate McEnroe will work with the SADA group over the next 10 to 12 months on identifying information for a regional marketing program.  There will also be a session at 1pm that afternoon.  All interested persons are welcome to attend the kick-off and training sessions.  Anyone interested may contact Wesley Woodard at the Hempstead County Economic Development Corporation at 870-777-8485.  SADA is an eight-county regional economic development and marketing group which promotes southwest Arkansas to potential employers.  This is part of the "SET" program, "SET" being the "Stronger Economies Together" program.  This is to develop and market the southwest Arkansas region for industry recruitment and economic deveopment.
