Hope Kiwanis Club Hears Program On Plans For Cold Storage Facility, Diesel Technology Facility, And Truck Plaza

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Les Salisbury on the first day of July. Salisbury gave an update on Magnolia Development, LLC which is part of Fikes Truck Line's FTL Custom Commodities. The company plans to build a cold storage faciity, diesel technolgy facility, and truck plaza on highway 29 north near I-30. The group hopes to break ground on the first phase of the facility in November with the cold storage facility opening in March of next year. The facility would initially employ about 85 people and within five years would employ around 300 people. Joining Salisbury at the Kiwanis Club was Danny Watson of Fikes
