Hope Kiwanis Club Hears Program On Southwest Research & Extension Center

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard a great program on Tuesday May 27th from Dr. Vic Ford, Director of the University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center near Hope. Dr. Ford told the Kiwanians about the annual Horticulture Field Day set at the SWREC on June 19th. He also talked about some facilities needs at the station and about some positions he hopes to sometime add at the SWREC. Dr. Ford also talked about the SWREC's studies into efficient crops for a plot of less than 5 acres.
