Kiwanis Club Hears About Wadley Regional Medical Center Hope

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Shelby Brown, Director of Marketing and Planning with Wadley Regional Medical Center.  She gave an update on the hospital in Hope and shared information on capital improvements since Wadley acquired the hospital in the summer of 2012.  Wadley invested about $6 million dollars in the hospital during the first two calender years it had the hospital and recently installed about $1 million dollars in radiology equipment.  The new equipment includes a new 16 slice c.t. and a digital mammogram unit.  The hospital also offers a cardiology clinic Monday's and Tuesday's with Dr. Ram.  Apointments are available at 1-866-484-8820.  Brown also detailed some of the services offered by Wadley in Texarkana including the hospital's Primary Stroke Center.
