Hope Kiwanis Club Hears Lady Cat Softball Program

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Coach Mike Godwin and Assistant Coach Jennifer Meek on Tuesday February 25th.  The Lady Cats open their season Saturday March 1st with a benefit game at Texarkana against Arkansas High.  The Lady Cats open regular season play at 5pm Monday March 3rd at Ashdown and Tuesday March 4th they will open their home season against Lafayette County at Lady Cat Field.  There are 23 young ladies playing this year.  The team has one senior, seven juniors, four sophmores, and eleven freshmen.  The Lady Cats have two state titles under Coach Godwin's guidance.
