The Hope Lions heard a program from Paul Henley on Hope In Action Monday June 10th. Henley noted Hope In Action was started in 1986. He noted the Family Shelter served 17 families in April and the individual shelter served 33 individuals. The food pantry served 446 people. Hope In Action recently received a grant from AEP /SWEPCO to build a freezer room at Hope In Action #2 to store frozen foods.
