Former Laurel Place Health and Rehabilitation Activities Director Linda Kretz is battling cancer and her former coworkers at Laurel Place hosted a fundraiser for her Saturday March 23rd at Laurel Place. Hamburgers and hot dogs were sold to raise money. There was also a silent auction and rummage sale as well as music by the Hempstead County Melody Boys.
