Sheriff James Singleton presented the CEO of the Arkansas Sheriffs Youth Ranch at the Lions meeting on Monday November 12th. Mike Cumnock explained the facility started in 1976 near Batesville and has served nearly 1,200 young people since its inception, He noted the facility helps children who are often abandoned or abused. More than 90% of funding comes from individuals and civic organizations.
