The Hope Kiwanis Club held its annual "Salute To Veterans" Tuesday November 6th. Aboyt 75 people were out for the program. All the veterans present were honored. Greg Gilbert performed (to a standing ovation) his song "Are You Proud of What You've Done For What They Died For". The Hope High Jr. ROTC presented the colors. World War II Veteran Jim Hogue spoke about a recent trip he and fellow WWII Veteran Leon Morehead took to wAshington D.C.
