Local Businessman Richard Hogue, his wife Rosetta, and Reggie Lewis of Blackmon Oil have been working to remove brush from the fence which fronts bypass at Highway 29 north. State policy of the highway department is to maintain the right of way to the fence. Hogue would like to challenge other citizens, clubs, and organizations to take on cleaning the fence rows along the bypass.
