Hope In Action #2 held a ribbon-cutting Tuesday August 2nd for the new "House of Hope". The new 7 room facility is a homeless shelter for women and children. Hope In Action acquired a double-wide office building from the former CMC Joist facility and several churches renovated rooms at the facility. These churches include Unity Baptist, St. John United Methodist, A Place of Meeting, Garrett Memorial Baptist, and First Presbyterian.
