Alan Batts Tames Lions With Beautiful Music

Pianist Alan Batts provided the Hope Lions Club with beautiful music Monday. Batts, an accomplished jazz, blues, and gospel pianist, moved to Hope several years ago after a career in music in Chicago. Batts performed several gospel selections for the Lions. When he closed his concert with Duke Ellington's "Take the A Train", the Lions responded with a standing ovation.
