ADEQ Hearing At UACCH On Turk Plant
A standing-room only crowd filled the Johnny Rapert Library Auditorium on the UACCH campus Thursday for a hearing by the Arkansas Department of Enviromental Quality. Many local leaders to the opportunity to speak in favor of the project including Hope Mayor Dennis Ramsey, EDC President Wesley Woodard, Fulton Mayor Henry Hale, State Senator Barbara Horn, Business-owner Mike Cox, and Mineral Springs-Saratoga Schools Superintendent Max Adcock. The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce formally endorsed the project last year.
