Reception For Dennis Ramsey

Hope Mayor Dennis Ramsey was honored with a reception Thursday December 18th at Bank of the Ozarks.  The mayor will leave the bank at the end of the year after a 38 year banking career.  Although the mayor does not have another job lined up he says he would like to continue working because his wife "Linda tells me I'm not coming home...if there's something else out there I'm certainly going to take a look at it".  The mayor says his 38 years in banking has been very fulfilling.  Ramsey was working at Hope Water & Light when Buddy Jordan called him about a position open at Citizens National Bank.  The mayor went to work June 1st, 1976 at Citizens and later moved to Summit.  He says he plans to continue his work on the city board and that he and his wife plan to stay in Hope.  Pictured is Dennis Ramsey, his wife Linda, his brother Bruce Ramsey, and new Bank of the Ozarks President Shane Meador.
