Hope Rotary Hears Program On Employer Support Of The Guard And Reserve
The Hope Rotary Club had a special presentation on behalf of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve on Thursday January 30th. Rotarian Paul Henley opened the program, explaining that the organization lauds employers who work with their employees who are in the National Guard and military reserves. Also taking part in the program was former Hope Mayor and Arkansas Adjutant General Mel Thrash, Hope Visitors Information Center Manager Lt. Guy Royston, Hope High Vice-Principal Colonel Mike Spraggins, and General Herbert Jack Lloyd. All those attending enjoyed an "M.R.E." for lunch, the type of meal that soldiers eat in the field.
