Ron Stovall Retirement Reception

Captain Ron Stovall checks out an old photo at his retirement reception Thursday at Hope's First United Methodist Church. Stovall is retiring as Captain of State Police Troop G in Hope after 36 years with the state police. He'll become the Sheriff of Miller County in January. On hand for the reception were hundreds of people including US Congressman Mike Ross, Lafayette County Judge Frank Scroggins, Texarkana,Arkansas Mayor Horace Shipp, and Hope Mayor Dennis Ramsey.
