Northside Park Cuts Ribbon

The Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting Friday celebrating the recent renovations to the Northside Park Community Center. The event also celebrated the summer youth program at the park. On hand to celebrate was Dr. Roscoe Smith of Dallas, Texas who was instrumental in the first youth programs at the park in the early 1960's.
